On May 13, Vice Governor of Zhejiang GAO Xingfu led a survey to ZJ Lab's Nanhu Headquarters. The surveyors visited the Center for Computing and Data, the labs of the Intelligent Perception Research Institute and the Intelligent Network Research Institute.

GAO heard the updates on ZJ Lab's intelligent computing data reactor and its major research achievements, and learned such projects as high throughput nano photoetching and imaging, wafer defect inspection, ultra-weak force and acceleration measurement, 800G ultra-high-speed optical transceiver chip and engine technology, and large-scale optical switching. He also had cordial talks with the scientists.

GAO spoke highly of ZJ Lab's achievements made in recent years. He said ZJ Lab, by defining its intelligent computing objectives and making overarching plans for major national demands and key technologies, has made series of exciting achievements in building a world-leading technological innovation platform.

He stressed that ZJ Lab, as the Province's major technological innovation platform and the innovation source for Hangzhou West Science and Technology Innovation Corridor, will be the powerhouse for Zhejiang's economic and social development. In the next step, ZJ Lab should accelerate its research progress to make more top-class achievements, enhance external cooperation, speed up industrial application of its scientific outcomes, and build itself into an independent technological force.

Provincial Government's Vice Secretary-general LIANG Qun, heads of the General Office of the Provincial Government, Science Technology Department and State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the People's Government of Zhejiang Province, as well competent leadership of Yuhang District, attended the survey. ZJ Lab's President ZHU Shiqiang, VicePresident YUAN Jixin, Vice President ZHAO Xinlong and Assistant President CHEN Wei accompanied the surveyors.
