On July 18, the intelligent computing industrial chain workshop, part of Zhejiang's “ten industrial chains for enterprises” series, hosted by the Economy and Information Technology Department of Zhejiang and Hangzhou Municipal People's Government, was held at Hangzhou West Science and Innovation Corridor. On the same day, a total of six industrial projects targeting intelligent computing were signed, with a total contract amount of about 5 billion yuan. Hangzhou Intelligent Computing Demonstration Center, China (Zhejiang) Intelligent Computing Industry Innovation Park, Zhejiang Province Intelligent Computing Industry Alliance, and other important platforms and carriers whose construction was participated in by ZJ Lab debuted successively.

Director-general YAO Gaoyuan of the Economy and Information Technology Department of Zhejiang, Party member of Hangzhou Municipal People's Government, and Vice Mayor SUN Xudong delivered speeches respectively. LI Ling, Party member of Hangzhou Municipal People's Government and Director-general of Hangzhou West Science and Innovation Corridor Management Committee; ZHU Shiqiang, President of ZJ Lab and Vice President of Zhejiang University; WANG Lizhong, Vice President of Zhejiang University; WANG Jian, Deputy Secretary of Yuhang District Committee of the CPC and Head of Yuhang District, and MA Liyang, Deputy Secretary of Fuyang District Committee of the CPC and Head of Fuyang District were present. More than 400 people participated in the event, including responsible officials of relevant provincial and municipal departments as well as representatives of key enterprises in the intelligent computing industry, scientific research institutes, industrial customers and financial institutions.

At the event, Hangzhou West Science and Innovation Corridor Management Committee, Yuhang District Government, ZJ Lab and Alibaba Cloud Computing Co. Ltd. jointly launched the construction of Hangzhou Intelligent Computing Demonstration Center. Relying on ZJ Lab, Alibaba Cloud Computing and other innovation entities, the Center aims to   build itself into a safe and controllable domestic system, a green and  low-carbon advanced computing center, a scientific and technological innovation and accelerated incubation base and a comprehensive operation   platform for industrial ecology. In doing so, it will promote Hangzhou West Science and Innovation Corridor to rapidly become the export place of cloud computing collaborative innovation standards, the origin place of IT application and innovation solutions of key industries and the gathering   place of upstream and downstream manufacturers of software and hardware.

Director-general YAO Gaoyuan and Vice Mayor SUN Xudong jointly inaugurated the China (Zhejiang) Intelligent Computing Industry Innovation Park. The Park is planned to be located in Nanhu Science Center in the middle section of Hangzhou West Science and Innovation Corridor, and its pioneering area is seated in China (Hangzhou) Artificial Intelligence Town, with an initial start-up area of about 20,000 square meters. Backed by ZJ Lab, the Park will explore the frontiers of computing science and conduct research on the integration of various technologies, make technological breakthroughs and collaborative integration in supercomputing, distributed computing and quantum computing, and actively promote the development of existing computing technologies towards intelligent computing. In big data, cloud computing, future network information system, core visual identification technology and other segmented areas, it highlights the demonstration application of "intelligent computing plus" to build an industrial ecosystem.

Guided by the Economy and Information Technology Department of Zhejiang, Zhejiang Province Intelligent Computing Industry Alliance was jointly launched and established by 25 entities, including ZJ Lab, Alibaba Cloud Computing, Huawei, H3C, Sugon, Loongson Technology, HiThink, Cybernaut, and Zhejiang Turing Internet Research Institute. The Alliance takes the overall plan of the Provincial Party Committee and the provincial government to promote the development of intelligent computing industry as its working direction, and accelerates the development of a market-oriented characteristic development mode for intelligent computing industry featuring vertical integration, horizontal expansion, basic support, quality and efficiency priority, to provide core support for the high-quality development of intelligent computing industry in the province.It is reported that intelligent computing, as a competitive industry in Zhejiang, is a landmark industrial chain that Zhejiang province strives to build, and one of the "415X" industrial clusters that the province is advancing on a priority basis.
