On April 28, 2022, Zhejiang Provincial CPPCC chairperson HUANG Lixin led a delegation to survey ZJ Lab's building of technological innovation platform and chaired a workshop on this regard. In the Center for Computing and Data, Ms. HUANG listened to the project report on the scientific device for intelligent computing data reactor, and inquired about computing strength integration and project progress. In the Research Institute of Intelligent Sensing, she visited the labs and the experiment devices of the new generation industrial control system information security, and learned about the project progress through professionals' reports. 

From the aspects of talent development and team building, device and platform building, mechanism and system innovation, scientific research, and innovation ecology, President of ZJ Lab ZHU Shiqiang briefed the Lab's four-year development and the following work plans and objectives.

Ms. HUANG acknowledged the breakthroughs made by the Lab, and stressed that the Lab should continue to align its work with national demands and global technology development, enhance research on key technologies, and bring in more high-level talents, so as to build internationally influential strengths for the country, and grow into a strong powerhouse for Zhejiang's innovation-driven development.  

She stressed the need to fully comprehend President XI Jinping's important speech on technological innovation, earnestly give full play to Zhejiang's advantages in eight fields and implement measures in eight aspects, put into effect the provincial government's decisions, and aim at the world scientific  frontiers, serve the major economic domains, the national major demands, and the people's health, and shoulder the mission as an important technological innovation platform for China in the new era. The Lab should bear in mind our country's demands, create innovation sources, amplify the innovation application chain, elevate technological innovation platforms' abilities for strategic planning, technological innovation, talent pooling, and industrialization pivot, and make more original and leading achievements as soon as possible. The Lab should also actively serve local   economic and social development, dare to take the lead in innovation, stress   mechanism creation, intensify policy coordination, promote openness and cooperation, and give strategic and technological support for building the bridge between Zhejiang Province and other regions and the high-quality development of a common prosperity demonstration zone.   

Other members attending the survey included Zhejiang Provincial CPPCC vice chairperson CAI Xiujun, secretary general JIN Changzheng, vice secretary general and director of the research office WANG Siqing, standing committee member and director of the Commission for Education, Science, Health and Sport WANG Xifa, Party Group member and deputy director general of the Provincial Department of Science and Technology MENG Xiaojun, and the leadership of ZJ Lab.
