At the Intelligent Robotic Research Center, Governor ZHENG was impressed by the innovation technical solutions of the Cloud Control Platform for Intelligent Robots. He encouraged researchers to overcome critical obstacles to achieve profound and substantial breakthroughs.

Governor ZHENG said that he was excited about the latest breakthroughs achieved by the lab. He went on to emphasize that the lab should orient its research activities toward real-life problems and the development needs of Zhejiang’s industrial chains. In particular, the lab should carry out basic research to solve problems found in applied research, and guide the directions of applied research. Moreover, it should undertake a leading role to develop a provincial system of tech innovation, building the "ZJ Lab" brand and contributing to the innovation-driven development of Zhejiang and the whole nation. For the next step, the lab should focus intently on talent recruitment and development, building a more competitive talent team. Specifically speaking, the lab should recruit talent to better meet the needs of industrial development, formulate more effective talent support policies, design more demand-oriented overseas recruitment plans, and value the development of local talent. In addition, the lab should invest more innovation resources such as equipment, instruments, and human resources based on its development needs, improving both the hardware and soft environments for research innovation.
