Bipedal robots are flexible, environmentally adaptable, and functional machines requiring high mobility and excellent balance. Therefore, they have important research value and broad market potential, representing the forefront of developing trends in legged robots.
Funded by the Zhejiang Provincial Program for Leading Innovation and Entrepreneurship Teams, the project team aims to build bipedal humanoid robots with high kinematic performance. They focus on the research of technical problems, such as the synchronized structural optimization of reconfigurable hybrid biped robots, the design and energy-saving control of lightweight driving units with high power density, and the dynamic balance control of multi-morphic and high-mobility biped robots, aiming to achieve breakthroughs in relevant areas, develop a worldwide influential innovation team on legged robots, and facilitate the research and application of legged robots.
