The facility can create optical traps to suspend micro/nano solids in vacuum environments, isolate them from external influences, and therefore use them as sensing units for optical momentum changes, in order to enable ultrasensitive sensing of extremely weak forces and ultrasensitive measurement of acceleration. It can be applied to research in areas such as high-precision autonomous inertial navigation, underground structure detection, earth gravity surveying and mapping, deep-sea and deep-earth exploration, extremely weak forces, and macroscopic quantum superposition.
