On March 9, 2023, a team led by DU Jiangfeng, president of Zhejiang University and academician of Chinese Academy of Sciences, visited ZJ Lab for a field investigation on scientific research sites such as the Computing and Data Center and the Research Institute of Intelligent Sensing. The team learned more about the progress of projects including intelligent computing data reactor and ultra-weak force measurement, and had a discussion on deepening cooperation between the two sides.

According to President ZHU Shiqiang's briefing on technological and institutional innovation, DU Jiangfeng pointed out that the pace of construction of ZJ Lab reflects "Zhejiang's Efficiency", and a group of high-level talents have gathered and achieved many high-level results in just five years. Next, the two sides should make persistent efforts to further optimize mechanisms for cooperation on scientific research and talent team building, so as to break through technological difficulties and elevate strategic cooperation to a higher level.

ZHU Shiqiang said that Zhejiang University plays an important role in supporting the Lab's construction and development. He hopes to further deepen the strategic cooperation with Zhejiang University in the future, and serve major national demands by leveraging both sides' advantages in construction of major platforms and emerging disciplines and cultivation of innovative talents, in order to achieve win-win outcomes and mutual promotion.

Leaders from the Office of the Presidents, the Policy Research Office, the Development & Planning Office, the Human Resources Department, the Office of Talent Management, the Graduate School and the Sci-Tech Academy of Zhejiang University accompanied this investigation. Leaders and department heads of ZJ Lab attended the meeting.
