ZHEJIANG LAB
OVERVIEW
Zhejiang Lab, located in Hangzhou, China, is a research institute with a special focus on intelligent computing. We are aware of the limitations of the traditional von Neumann computing architecture and are inspired to incubate a new revolution in fundamentals of computing. We believe scientific breakthroughs are more likely to occur in collaborations. Our vision that combines scientists from different countries and increase their expertise to extend the frontiers of human knowledge will be achieved by building a community for scientific exchange across national and disciplinary boundaries. We believe in the importance of supporting fundamental research and fostering international cooperation. This program aims to support researchers around the globe to conduct original research in the general theme of biological computation, including but not limited to the following fields: Cellular computing based on the genetic circuit, molecule-based computational models, DNA digital data storage, Bio-inspired computing, novel information processing and storage models in the brain.
