On the afternoon of July 22, ZJ Lab and DeepTech reached a strategic partnership agreement at the Lab’s Nanhu Headquarters. President ZHU Shiqiang and Vice President ZHAO Xinlong of ZJ Lab and founder Brandon Zhou and co-founder Landy Zhang of DeepTech attended the ceremony.
At the ceremony, both sides held an in-depth communication on their cooperation for the next stage. In the future, the two sides will cooperate in frontier technological fields nationwide, aiming to create an innovative ecological resource network to help ZJ Lab foster national strategic technology powers, gather top R&D teams from all over the world, and build a globally influential technological innovation highland.
In his address, ZHU Shiqiang said that as a high-level innovation platform supported by Zhejiang Provincial Government, ZJ Lab focuses on intelligent computing research to help shape national strategic technology powers and meet national needs. The core of ZJ Lab’s culture, “dedication to science and national prosperity” agrees with DeepTech’s enterprising spirit, laying a solid foundation for their cooperation. The partnership will help both sides make full play of their strengths, gather global technological innovation resources, expand the platform’s international horizon, build a high-end talent network, plan for important strategic platforms, and present fruitful cooperation achievements.
Brandon Zhou said DeepTech is a resource and service provider focusing on emerging technology, and ZJ Lab is an important part of China’s strategic technology powers. Both sides highly agree with each other in terms of technology, and complement each other in such fields as frontier technology, talent training and global resources. Looking into the future, DeepTech will make full use of its strengths and build globally influential cooperation platforms centering on the fields of talent introduction and training and application of technological results.
According to the cooperation agreement, the two sides will co-build international academic exchange platforms and academic and talent resource networks in the fields of intelligent computing and artificial intelligence. Through technical cooperation and joint funds in the field of biological computing, they will also promote incubation and application of technological results, create a sound ecology with complete innovation factors, build high-level innovation platforms, and support the development of independent high-level technologies.
