Research Center for Quantum Sensing

The center has been working to solve current major scientific issues and meet major national needs. In order to develop scientific devices and instruments that can achieve ultimate measurement precision for physical quantities, the center is conducting research on the theories and key technologies behind quantum sensing and precision measurement to achieve ultimate precision measurement for quantities such as inertia, extremely weak magnetic forces, extremely weak forces, and absolute gravity. These efforts have been made to support the research of current major scientific issues and the development of next-generation quantum measurement benchmarks, in order to make breakthroughs in technologies and systems such as quantum inertial navigation, cardiac and cerebral magnetic measurements, gravity field mapping, and unmanned equipment measurement and control.
