Zhejiang Lab Overview

Zhejiang Lab is a research institute established jointly by the Provincial Government of Zhejiang, Zhejiang University and Alibaba Group in September, 2017. It has the core mission of scientific and technological advancement in Artificial Intelligence and Network Information and is to be built as a world-class basic research center.

Committed to achieving original breakthroughs, Zhejiang Lab explores the frontiers and the key technologies in intelligent perception, intelligent network, intelligent computing and intelligent system, aspiring to create an ecosystem for the research and development of intelligent information science, developing and promoting innovations with a global vision.

At present, the lab has gathered talents from all around the world with diverse academic and industrial experience. The technology roadmap is under the supervision of a Academic Advisory Committee. Committee members include academicians from the Chinese Academy of Sciences, the Chinese Academy of Engineering, Canadian Academy of Science and Turing Award winners. Current team leaders consist of Changjiang Scholars, Outstanding Youths and university professors. Many team members have PhDs and postdoctoral experience from major universities.
