On May 20, a media briefing was held for the 2020 West Lake Cyber Security Online Summit. Ma Xiaojun, Deputy Director of the Cyberspace Administration of Zhejiang Province, attended the briefing and introduced the overall situation and highlights of this year’s conference.
Ma said that due to the COVID-19 epidemic, the West Lake Cybersecurity Conference, which used to be an offline event, will take place online this year on June 16, named the West Lake Cybersecurity Online Summit. The theme of this year’s summit is “Digital Governance in Cybersecurity, Intelligent Governance for Future Networks”, which means boosting the transition of cybersecurity governance through a revolution in digital technologies, enabling digital governance with cybersecurity technologies, and ensuring the security of future networks with intelligent governance strategies. The Summit will be presented with innovative features in multiple dimensions including its form and content. It will be an online conference of unprecedented scale and unique style, highlighting its high-end and cutting-edge quality as well as its focus on the debates and discussions among participants.
The Summit is organized by organizations including the Cyberspace Administration of Zhejiang Province, Zhejiang Lab, and DBAPPSecurity, co-hosted by the China Electronics Standardization Institute, the China Academy of Information and Communications Technology, and several other organizations.
